The 18th variation of Rhapsody On A Theme By Paginini by Sergei Rachmaninoff is used in the movie 'Somewhere In Time'. Composer John Barry wrote the music to the film in 1980. In today’s musical offering, I perform the love theme as composed for the film, followed by a piano transcription of Rachmaninoff’s piece which was composed in 1934.
